La Nopalera in St. Augustine

Not the best one I've been too but better than the Fleming island location.

It's an absolutely wonderful place to eat, large enough for parties. They have long booths that seat 6 adults comfortably. Table and chairs through center of restaurant and there always happy to put them together for your larger parties. They have a very nice bar, that makes great mixed drinks. Outstanding service paired with a very large menu of very affordable items. Can't beat this place if you love authentic mexican food!

Food is always good and service is fast. This is our regular Tuesday joint because of the taco special.

My husband and I always go to LaNop week days, mid-afternoon, so we can sit and talk as long as we want! Service is prompt and good! Wait staff knows their menu and are responsive when you ask for recommendations! Food is excellent, so is the service!!! Highly recommend!

It's better eat at the restaurant not do a take out they didn't give me everything I ordered

I love going here on Friday's because they give you a pitcher of beer for just $5. Amazing. Prices are great for families with kids too. I think on Tuesday's and Wednesday's kids eat free with adult meal purchase but I rarely have time to go on those days. Kids love the aquarium too.

The waitress was amazing. Food came out quickly. She kept checking on us. They sang happy bday to my best friend as we were celebrating. Food was great and came out quickly.

While prices are good, flavors are bland and they don't do much to punch up the flavor with spices or combination of toppings. The salsa was great & the rice was on par, other than that very mediocre.

Busy Mexican restaurant popular with families.Chips and salsa served at the table was fresh and plentiful.My taco salad was lettuce with a large slice of tomato on top of the lettuce and sour cream. Ground beef was bland with hardly any flavor.

So disappointed! Got take out for the first time here. My usual location is fantastic. I ordered the Burrito Especial and a side of queso. No queso and this is not the burrito I ordered. It is a burrito with steak in it and nothing else. It is supposed to have a bunch of stuff on it with sour cream and guacamole. Getting it wrong with take out is SO annoying. If I had time to take it back, I would have had time to eat in:(

Consistently good food and great service. La Nop has been a regular weekly go to for my family for years. All the wait staff are so nice we've gotten to know a few of them over the years. Best salsa of any of the local Mexican restaurants.

On Tuesdays you can get two margaritas and three tacos for under 10 bucks. Helluva deal and the food (all the food) is great. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. I'm a regular.

La Nop is our local go to Mexican. We have been going here for Years. The last couple of visits the service has been a bit slow. Not sure what is going on there. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.

Love the fish tacos! This is the only place where we've also polished off the entire basket of chips and salsa.

We are travelling and made the mistake of stopping here. The food was deplorable and improperly prepared. The quesadilla was a deep fried mess. The enchilada was also, you guessed it, a deep fried mess. The pulled chicken was underseasoned and cold. The rice was store bought and the greatest embassment was the cheese. The only have cheap American cheese that they use for all of their dishes. The only thing Mexican about this place was the decor. What a disaster.

Went here with my fiance on a double date, nice looking place. So let's get started with the list that went wrong. Our food took over an hour which would have been okay but out appetizer came after our meal and we only got it because we flagged down another waiter. When we actually got our meals they were cold. I was gonna let it all slide if our waiter just took it back and heated it up. Well then the guy started getting mouthy with my fiance when she brought it up which didn't fly. So I stepped in and this dude starts arguing with me now. I asked to see the manager. Manager ended up being a decent guy and waved the check (I wouldn't have paid either way) just a bad experience. I don't blame the restaurant, because I've heard some great things, but that waiter was just terrible.

Holy friggin crap this is my favorite place ever. The servers are great, they know my order and are always so nice. The food is freaking outstanding. If you want amazing Mexican this is your spot.

Food has a pleasant charm to it but service is slow even when the restaurant is nearly empty. It shouldn't take 10 mins between getting drinks and ordering.

Food and service has declined. My wife"s Rum and Coke was made with Vodka. Portions are smaller and taste is just OK. Serve was terrible, slow, forgot to bring what was requested and took a while to get dinners and it was not that busy

If you're going to have Mexican, there are far better options.

They staff did not give me all of my change back from my meal. The manager argued with me that the right amount was given and didn't even want to count the register. Sleight of hand. Count your money. They will rob you if you don't pay attention.

Love this place. Food was amazing. Love the queso add beef. ..yummy! My fajitas were amazing and always go home with a bug plate of food left over. I prefer this one over the one in Jacksonville by Roosevelt. This one has an outdoor patio which I like because it gets loud inside. There were only a few petty things like they were out of menus so we used to go menus which were not full menus so I had no clue of some things. The waiter didn't speak very good English but the manager comes around and made sure everything was good. All in all I love this place and will definitely go back. Actually hoping to take my mom when she comes to town this weekend hopefully.
